An Extra Special Class!

This Sunday at Scraptivate we have an extra special class for you!  Our amazing teacher Vivian Bonder has put together this Mini Book class for you.  It's just one hour, in which you will construct this little gem of a mini book from scratch using mixed media materials including metal shim.  If you love "little things" and altered books then this is definitely a class not to miss!

We are doing this extra special class for the EXTRA special low price of $15!!  Yes you read that right - this amazing little class is only $15 ...

But wait, there's more, (and no, it's not steak knives ......)

Included in the price is our regular Sunday Session crop (normally $10!).  So after the class is finished, you can stay on and work on some more of your projects in our classroom ..... with cake, tea and coffee included!

- If you book the class and do not wish to stay for the Crop Session the full class fee of $15 is still payable
- If you have already booked in to our Sunday Crop Session and would like to book the class, you just need to pay the extra $5
- If you were booked in to the classes with Jill & Ngaire which were recently cancelled, you can do the class FREE as per the email you would have already received.

Honestly?

It is Naomi here, hjacking the scraptivate blog on this beautiful Sunday afternoon

I believe, right down to my core that I am a good person but unfortunately not all the tools, paper and good intentions can actually get that card into the post....

Over the years I am horrified to say I have forgotten to send christmas cards, birthday cards, letters, thankyous, congratulations and I love yous to all the important people in my life...... instead I have used weak excuses like too busy, I forgot, and I am making it (but time gets the better and it is too late so now I wont send it...)

Over the last year I have realised that I cant take those moments back, life is too short for feeble excuses to those whom deserve it the most.

So I am making a stance 52 weeks and 52 cards sent to people I love, have forgot and appreciate. 52 random little “i’m thinking of you”..... I am going to lick stamps and jam things into envelopes in hope to start a new habit and I am bringing another creative soul into the mix to keep me honest, inspired and on track to meet this goal......

....... so then Natalie got thinking, how good would it be if we paid forward this idea and got some other creative souls involved! So we are sharing our challenge with you all! 

Each Friday we will share with you our "theme" for the week and we would love for you to get involved. All you have to do is email a photo of your card for that week's challenge to contact@scraptivate.com.au. The following Friday we will share on the Scraptivate blog our own cards, plus the cards from our followers. We encourage you to send your card to someone and pass on the challenge!

To inspire you to get involved, we will also have a little prize each week for one of our challenge participants!

The First challenge is aptly named 'HELLO'.
