Well not really - there are plenty of other things I could have been doing, like updating my website and CLEANING. But just had to get some scrapping done ... these new papers arrived in the shop today and they really are very nice!! So here is what I came up with:
You have to excuse the poor scan ... I usually photograph my layouts but the batteries are flat in my camera and so tonight I scanned this one but the photostitch thing on photoshop keeps putting a diagnal line through the middle of the scan ... if anyone knows how to prevent this from happening please let me know!!
The photo is of my "perfect angel" and eldest daughter Alyssa, who is three.
Here is an ATC I finished tonight also:
This is done using the ever faithful "credit card" technique - I really love this technique as it works for me every time and it gives great results for relatively simple technique - thanks Kelsey for showing me the "how to" on this one!! It is my favourite background technique at the moment.
I also finished my ATC's for the black and white swap I am in with Stampgropers ... won't share these just at the moment but am so happy I got them finished and am fairly happy with the results. This is the first swap I have participated in and so I was a bit stressed about it ... didn't want to send in dodgy work!!
Now I have to do 12 ATC's for a calendar swap I am in at work. Do you think I can come up with an idea for this one - NOPE!!! Hmmm, I am tossing between credit card technique or something with texture paste, I do love the stuff really ... and perhaps some of the Twinkling H2O's - bit in love with these at the moment too!!!
I am off to play some more ...
Goodnight all,
Natalie xx
