We have finally moved in to our new house and I feel somewhat more settled again. With school starting it means we can get back in to some sort of normal routine and things can be as normal (which might allow for more blog posts, lol!).
One of the most exciting things about our new house is my new Art Room! I get the whole games room to myself! And with a few shelving units from IKEA and a couple of pieces of furniture my mum didn't want anymore, I have great storage space and a table I can work at with lots more space than I had before! It is so nice to be able to create in my own dedicated space.
Speaking of creating, I am teaching another tile class this weekend ... we are doing Crackle Techiques using Crackle Accents and Tim Holtz's Crackle Paints. Here's a look:
There are only a couple of places left for this class so if you think you want to give it a go, give us a call on 9444 6626 to book in.
The other great thing about having our own place again I can get back into the garden. I adore gardening (almost as much as creating art!) and in the 3 weeks we have been in the house I have already done a substantial amount, planting lots of ferns and palms under the patio. So just one more photo to share before I call it a night ....
It's a Fuschia I planted under the patio when we first moved in. I was stunned by its beauty tonight when I was watering, so had to take this photo.
Goodnight all
