and I still hadn't put up my cards for this week.
so without further ado here is my little contribution to the 52week Card challenge..... I do hope youu are joining us for this I am having so much fun, but best of all is the surprise of sending it to someone completely unawares.
That feeling is addictive... getting sidetracked sorry.

I used the new MME 6X6 paper pad for this which will be arriving to Scraptivate very shortly... also some little digital elements for the little bird because I ran out of my favourite Pink Paisley diecuts, some miscellaneous chipboard frames, glitter and flowers.....all things that Nat has in the store.
For this week I made a little gift to go with it which is super easy to make and I will include a short tutorial on how to. I will be making a couple of these for teachers presents for the end of the year.(nothing like being organised well ahead of time)

NB :remember to layer your papers and chipboard with foam tape to make things pop and drop.
So this little bundle will be wrapped and sent to someone whom is in the 52week challenge so get your cards onto the FB page and join us for the challenge. I promise you it is good for the soul.
TUTORIAL....
STEP 1
Cut 2 pieces of chipboard (heavyweight) 10cm X 10cm

sand, ink or paint edges if you desire that effect
STEP 2
Grab some Linen Tape.... hideous shed-husband tape it (comes in all matter of colours Red, blue, black, white, kraft)

cut off about a 20cm length and then overlapping the squares on the edge by about 0.5cm like photo

HINT: use the lines on your cutting board to make sure that it is straight and will fold neatly in half.
and then fold it up on itself...... and cut off the ends.

STEP 3
use whatever scraps of paper you have about and cover the boards inside and out... remember to cover the tape seem for the overall clean look. Sand the edges gently to make em pretty

I used some cork and brads on the bottom to act like legs...silly I know but I am a firm believer that is all in the details.(heheheheh)
then attach your memo pads.

and you are done.......
Easy, quick and now the fun of really dressing it begins.
so you creative souls get cracking I cant wait to see what you make...
Happy sunday and I will see you next week
cheers Naomi x
